Whitney started part-time with Harrison & Johnston, PLC in the summer of 2013, working as a legal assistant for Timothy M. Mayfield and Cary M. Craig, Jr., while simultaneously attending George Mason University as a full-time student. After graduating with honors with a degree in International Relations, she became a full-time staff member and expanded her role at the firm to that of receptionist. In March 2016, Whitney took a four-year hiatus from the workforce to focus on raising her two children, Lorelai and Shepard. She returned to the firm in June 2020, resuming her role of receptionist, as well as taking on the position of legal assistant to attorneys Charles I. Billman and Amy K. Slaughter.
Whitney has experience in several different areas of law including civil, family, and criminal defense. She has a heart and passion for serving others and strives to connect personally with each client in order to create a comfortable and warm experience for all. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends around a bonfire or floating on the lake.
