Sherry joined the Harrison & Johnston team in 2016, starting as a receptionist and later transitioning to her current role as a legal assistant. Working primarily with attorneys Ari N. Sommer and Timothy M. Mayfield within the areas of elder law, estate planning, and family law, she facilitates clients’ legal needs and makes their experience comfortable, friendly, and convenient.
With a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and nine years of teaching and classroom experience, Sherry has an excellent background in verbal and written communication skills and a passion for helping families. A licensed Virginia Notary Public, Sherry enjoys spending her time away from the office walking downtown Winchester with her husband, reading, and Facetiming her granddaughters.
